SIMM was set up in 1980 by a group of professionals and started as a training institution for adult learners. Over the years, SIMM has grown to be a premier institution offering Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, and E-Commerce education for the industry training professionals from local and overseas.
Industry's recognition for qualifications awarded
SIMM qualifications are recognised by the industry with our students embarking on a related career, taking on positions of warehouse officers, planners, buyers etc. Many of our students were sponsored by their companies to study Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Graduate Diploma and Professional Certification in logistics related courses, reinforcing employers' recognition for SIMM qualifications.
Qualifications awarded facilitate smooth transition into other higher learning
SIMM graduates are provided options to upgrade themselves to other institutions of higher learning. Some of our graduates have moved on to pursue Bachelor and Master programmes with Curtin University and also other universities.

SIMM has various interest group such as the Supply Chain Security Professionals (www.simm.org.sg/scsp) and other industry related groups which opens creating networking opportunities for our students/members and alumni to networking opportunities. Our membership base consists of a diverse mix from small to big corporations, young aspirants to professionals in the industry.
