Supply Chain Security Professional (SCSP) Interest Group
The Supply Chain Security Professional Interest Group was set up to provide information and generate interest in the constantly changing and evolving arena of Supply Chain Security. Working with like-minded logistics and supply chain management practitioners, we seek to provide a platform for information collection and sharing in addition to educational services. Our seminars and training courses are specially developed upon a clear understanding of the needs of the industry and cater to anyone who is keen to learn and develop knowledge and new skills in Supply Chain Security.

To educate, enhance and sustain competency in supply chain security management amongst the logistics and supply chain management practitioners.

Committee Members

Mr. Roger Lee
- Chairman

Mr Roger Lee is the Director of Singapore Institute of Materials Management, and the Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific Logistics Federation. He was an entrepreneur involved in the technology transfer consultancy projects in Singapore and ASEAN. Roger was invited as the visiting professor to a few universities in China specializing in logistics and supply chain management.

Roger possesses a MBA from the University of Strathclyde (UK), and a Bachelor of Sc. Degree from University of San Francisco. He had stayed in Silicon Valley, California for five years, managing a Singapore-based multinational electronics company in the nineties. Most recently, Mr. Lee had co-authored four books, “The Making of a Technopreneur”, “The Making of a Shell LiveWire Entrepreneur”, “World Class Logistics and Supply Chain Management” and "Knowledge Management, Principles and Case Studies"

Mr. Junus Kartara
- Vice Chairman

Mr. Junus Kartara possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Logistics from University College Dublin. He is presently an Assistant General Manager, Logistics Division for Sankyu Singapore Private Limited, a leading Japanese logistics provider.

He has been in the Logistics Industry for more than 20 years. He manages three Logistics Centres in Singapore. He has hands-on knowledge in supply chain management strategies, which would enable a company to become efficient in the production and distribution methodologies. He has successfully implemented many productivity projects for the company to raise efficiency and increase yield for their operations. He is actively involved in providing solutions to companies which need new set ups.

Mr. Albert Leong
- Committee Member
(Manufacturing Industry)

Mr Albert Leong is the Vice President of Singapore Institute of Materials Management and the Managing Director of PT Preshion Engineering Plastec located in Indonesia. He had worked in many multinational companies in the areas of global logistics and manufacturing.

Albert graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master Degree in Industrial Engineering. He is a certified APICS member and an expert in supply chain methodologies in the areas of production planning and execution. His overseas ventures have given him a lot of global business experiences in cross cultural negotiations and international operations.

Mr. Johnny Chua Soo Kian
- Committee Member (Pharmaceutical Industry)

Over the past 27 years Johnny have built up strong operational and knowledge pertaining to Supply Chains Management in different manufacturing and service industries. He held different functional position and roles such as Customer Services Manager, Order Fulfillment (Demand Planning) Manager, Distribution Centre Operations Manager, Supply Chain Manager for Emerging Markets and Logistics Manager.

Some of his previous career stint in supply chain management positions was with Schering Plough Ltd, Nortel Networks (S) Pte Ltd, General Semiconductor Pte Ltd, General Electric Medical (S) Pte Ltd, and Motorola Electronics Pte Ltd.

Johnny holds a Master of Business in Logistics Management and a Bachelor of Commerce in Logistics Management from Curtin University of Technology.

Mr. Tarun Mathur
- Committee Member (Information Technology)

Mr. Tarun Mathur is currently the President at ECnet Limited and Executive Vice President & CMO at R Systems International Ltd. He has a span of over 18 years across Engineering, Consumer, Commercial and IT Services sectors. He possesses M.Sc ( Electronics), MBA from University of Pune and Fergusson College. He was an award winning student in both programmes.

Tarun also played an advisory role to several companies through Professional Associations such as TIE and YST. He is also the Advisor and Faculty Member with 3 management schools in India.

Mr. Vincent Goh
- Committee Member
(Security Industry)

Mr Vincent Goh is currently the Senior Manager, Security Training & Education, Security Business Group of Certis CISCO Security Pte Ltd. Vincent has over 15 years of experience in business development and marketing for the IT, Tourism & Security sectors. His security exposure includes business development and marketing of security systems, manpower, cash management, consulting and training, for a myriad of customers like financial institutions, telcos, military, police forces and aviation organizations.

His previous career included the National Computer Systems Pte Ltd and the Singapore Tourism Board, holding licensing/enforcement, business development, channel management and marketing positions.

Vincent holds a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration (Distinction) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
