Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) is a national credentialing system by Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). It trains, develops, assesses and recognises individuals for competencies
companies are looking for.
It is designed to be practical, accessible and
affordable, enabling every individual to take charge of your own career and advancement. It is also a powerful business
tool for employers to access and maintain a skilled workforce, thus enhancing their competitive edge and advancing their businesses.
SIMM is proud to be a partner with WDA to bring you the following WSQ programmes:
WSQ Certificate in Generic Manufacturing Skills (Logistics)
[WSQ-CGMS]
This program is aimed at people working in warehouse operation, store keeping, order
fulfillment assistant and express staff. Participants will be able to upgrade their competency skills, asset by industry standard
and WDA.
WSQ Certified Operations Specialist [WSQ_COS]
This programme is suitable for the operational-level workers, providing them with the
basic training and skills as operations specialist in the manufacturing or in performing technical duties in other manufacturing-related industries.
WSQ Certified Operations Professional [WSQ_COP]
This programme is suitable for supervisory/managerial-level staff, preparing them with
the essential supervisory training and skills as operations professional in the manufacturing or in other manufacturing related industries.
WSQ Certified Associate Operations Executive [WSQ_AOE]
The WSQ Certified Associate Operations Executive [WSQ-AOE] programme is designed to
provide PMEs with the essential skills, competencies and knowledge in the areas of project management, quality management, business
process improvement, and people management.
